The Huronia Stallions Varsity football team overcame tremendous adversity to defeat the North Bay Wild in Ontario Football Conference Action. The Stallions defeated the Wild with a come from behind 22-15 victory despite having both quarterbacks injured for the rest of the season and losing three offensive and Defensive Line starters during the game to injury. Junior Varsity Quarterback Adam Zussino stepped up to guide the offence and the score the game winning touchdown in the fourth quarter. The Stallions finished the season in second place in the OFC’s Northern division with a 4-3-1 record. They will host the Clarington Knights Saturday at 5PM at the Barrie Sports Complex in the first round of the playoffs.
